Com a vulgarização da Internet tornou-se fácil o acesso a software de baixo custo ou nenhum custo de controle de CNC, com os componentes quer mecânicos quer electrónicos vendidos as toneladas agora no eBay, fez com que as maquinas CNC prosperassem para o mercado hobby.
Nesta pagina vou fazer um resumo acerca de software relacionado com CNC (normalmente na gíria, fala-se em software de CAD/CAD, pois alguns dos programas fazem ambos os trabalhos), e deixar os link para as paginas dos fabricantes ou de download dos programas relacionados com as CNC, em CNC Download. CAD (Computer Aided Design) em português (Desenho assistido por computador) Wikipedia
O programa CAD é o software onde se irá desenhar, ou software de desenho de peças ou montagens.
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) em português (Manufatura auxiliada por computador) Wikipedia
Programa que ira converter o desenho previamente desenhado em CAD numa liguagem que o software controlador da CNC conhece. (Existem alguns programas que servem como CAD/CAM ou seja executam as duas operações)
Software de controlo CNC
Interpreta o código gerado pelo programa de CAM, normalmente em G-code, e converte em movimentos da maquina CNC.
Software de simulação CNC
Existe também software de simulação, estes programas são uma verdadeira ajuda quando se trata da optimização de percursos ou de tempos de maquinação. Um simulador CNC permite verificar os percursos da ferramenta num computador. O CNC Simulator e O NCPlot são dos meus favoritos para este trabalho.

CAD (Computer Aided Design) Wikipedia
The CAD software is where you will draw or design parts or assemblies.
CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) Wikipedia
It´s the program that will convert the drawing to be drawn in a CAD software liguagem the CNC controller knows. (There are some programs that serve as CAD / CAM or perform both operations)
CNC control software
Interprets the code generated by the CAM program, usually in G-code, and converts the movements in CNC machine.
CNC simulation software
There is also software simulation, these programs are a real help when it comes to optimizing routes or run times. A simulator for verifying CNC tool paths on a computer. The CNC Simulator and The NCPlot are my favorites for this work.
